We deal with all aspects of family matters relating to marriage, cohabitation and divorce.

The breakdown of any relationship is a painful and difficult experience for all concerned. We appreciate that clients are required to make major decisions regarding their children, occupation of the home, property and financial matters in general. We understand that the best advice and assistance is required at this challenging time.

We provide a specialised caring and supportive service combining practical advice with a firm approach. We look to resolve issues at the earliest opportunity but in a cost efficient way and so as to achieve the best results.

We can also assist with advice and agreements before cohabitation or marriage.

We recognise that clients may require initial advice for general information, before separating or discussing matters with former partners. The department therefore offers an initial 45 minute diagnostic fixed fee interview for £45.00 plus VAT. During this interview we aim to provide outline advice, details of options to progress matters and full cost information.

We have a specialist Family Mediation Department providing separating families with the option of reaching their own agreements with the assistance of a neutral Mediator.

The department is headed by Andrea Sorrell who is a member of The Law Society Family Law and Mediation Panels. She is also a member of Resolution (formerly the Solicitors Family Law Association) and the UK College of Mediators where she is also registered as an approved Supervisor.
