By leaving a Will you can decide who will benefit from your estate rather than it being distributed according to the rules of intestacy.
You will be able to appoint executors, guardians for your children, set out your wishes and restrictions on gifts made and depending on your circumstances reduce exposure to inheritance tax.
It is extremely important that your Will is worded clearly and correctly, accurately reflecting your wishes. Ambiguous wording can lead to additional expense and cause considerable delay in winding up a deceased’s estate.
We recognise that everyone’s situation is different and we offer practical and sensitive solutions whatever the circumstances.
The death of a loved one is a very difficult time. We do our utmost to settle the deceased’s estate as quickly and efficiently as possible whilst keeping all those concerned fully informed.
